Our Story
Meet Our Founder and Principal
Nicholas Rheubottom brings over a decade of high-level experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors to his role as Principal of 4Sight. He excels in developing strategies and mitigating risks for organizations undergoing significant transitions, such as rapid growth, changes in scope, or entering new markets. In the non-profit space, he has helped organizations leverage one-time funding to achieve sustainable long-term growth. His expertise spans strategic planning, program management, government and public relations, grant funding, and relationship management, with a proven track record of meeting and surpassing deliverables through an innovative yet still risk averse approach.

Nicholas's educational background includes a BA in History and a BFA in Music from the University of Regina, an MA in Musicology from the University of Alberta, and doctoral studies in Music at King’s College London. Originally aiming for a career in academia, he pivoted to applying these soft skills in other fields, where he has thrived for over seven years.

As the Executive Director of an industry-based nonprofit in Edmonton, Nicholas managed operations, led government relations efforts, and fostered industry connections through networking events. He also has extensive experience in project planning and procurement from his five-year stint in the private sector.

This approach inspires others to achieve more than they thought possible, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and resilience.​Outside of his professional life, Nicholas remains deeply connected to the fine arts, participating in choirs and regularly attending the opera, theatre, and ballet. He also serves as Vice Chair for the Alberta LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, advocating for queer-owned and operated businesses in Alberta.​
